YONKERS – Two rental apartment buildings on Rollins Street have been sold for a total of $6.3 million, according to a real estate broker who was involved in the recent deal.

The two adjacent buildings — 18-20 and 26 Rollins St. — include 27 units, making the transaction a $233,333-per-unit deal. The sales figure is significant in the Yonkers multi-family market, said Michael Nukho, principal real estate broker with NuRealty Advisors.

The Yonkers-based firm represented both the seller, Rollins 182026 LLC, and the buyer, 4639 White Plains Road Corp., in the transaction, Nukho said.

In 2016, the Yonkers-based real estate firm represented Rollins 182026 when the company purchase the complex for $3.945 million, Nukho added.

Real state investors have been flocking to rental apartment buildings in recent years, driving up prices.
